Kris Owen’s journey as a writer began in her childhood, inspired by her grandfather’s poignant articles and her mother’s enchanting storytelling. Growing up as the oldest of ten, she was captivated by her mother’s tales, which sparked her own passion for narrative.

In her thirties, Kris transitioned to journalism, focusing on human interest stories that resonated deeply with readers. At seventy, she published her debut novel, Telling Sky, and has since released four more novels, including Missing Pieces.

Now at seventy-seven, Kris continues to write, creating rich stories that explore love, loss, and the complexities of family life.
